ROB ZOMBIE, MÖTLEY CRÜE To Perform On New VH1 CLASSIC Show
August 18, 2005Launch Radio Networks is reporting that ROB ZOMBIE, MÖTLEY CRÜE, INCUBUS and SMASHING PUMPKINS founder Billy Corgan are among the artists who will tape performances for a new VH1 Classic program called "Decades Rock Live". Each one-hour segment will spotlight an influential rock or soul artist of the past 50 years performing alongside younger acts that the artist has had an impact on. There's no word yet on when most of the individual artists will appear, or in what combination.
"Decades Rock Live" will premiere in October.
Other musicians scheduled to take part in upcoming segments include ALICE COOPER, CHEAP TRICK, BONNIE RAITT, SHERYL CROW, CYNDI LAUPER and LYNYRD SKYNYRD.
The first program, featuring DOORS members Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger collaborating with Perry Farrell and others, was taped earlier this month.
